The Wolf Creek Golf Resort, which opened in 1984, is definitely one of the best golf courses in Alberta. This majestic course was designed by Rod Whitman, who more recently designed the new Black Hawk Golf Course in West Edmonton. The Wolf Creek course is a 27-hole layout that at times makes you feel like you are golfing in Scotland while still maintaining a Canadian touch. Wolf Creek Golf Resort ranked No. 22 on the Score Golf 100 list in 2006, which ranks the top 100 courses in Canada.
