Ka’anapali’s Royal Course , a Trent Jones Sr. design, opened its lush fairways in 1962 and has over 45 years of tournament history. Hosting golfing legends such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Amy Alcott, Ka’anapali has hosted professionals and amateurs alike. The par 71 Royal Course combines wide fairways with undulating greens and with four sets of tees, is challenging for all levels of play. Each hole is named with a Hawaiian phrase or word, signifying an area in the resort or ancient story of the land on which golfers are playing.
