Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, opened in 1994 and was designated by Golf Digest as one of the top ten new public courses in 1995. The Prairie Links style layout features rolling bent grass fairways large undulated greens and strategically placed bunkers and mounding. Chicagoland Golf Magazine readers rate Prairie Landing 5-Star. A green fee includes a bucket of range balls, play on two par four practice holes and a locker in the locker room. The electric golf cart fee includes full color ParView GPS on every cart. The links style golf course has water in play on 12 of the 18 holes. No homes border the golf course allowing for wide open views of the once Illinois prairie and the DuPage General Aviation Airport. Prairie Landing has the honorable distinction of being a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary". The historic McChesney Clubhouse is a picture of character and is home to full service banquet, dining and pro shop facilities.
