St. Ives Resort - Tullymore Course
A Classic Michigan Course Glows Like a Jewel Against a Superb Scenic Backdrop Glacial carved highlands and sprawling wetlands provide you with a breathtaking setting for your round of golf on our St. Ives course. The course conditions and scenery are outstanding! St. Ives offers four sets of tees so that you can make your round as exciting or challenging as you want it to be. The course is also unique in that water comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes. The undulating terrain is the result of the course being built on what was once glacial till. St. Ives presents 40 to 80 feet of elevation change so you'll experience outstanding views of the surrounding area. We offer world-class golf and scenery, unlike many courses you may have played before. The course, which was built in 1995, was designed by one of Michigan's most famous golf course architects, Jerry Matthews. Since it’s opening, St. Ives has received several prestigious awards including a five-star rating from Golf Digest. Other awards that we have received include: being named among the "Top 10 Courses in America for Women" by Golf for Women, the "#5 Best New Affordable Public Course" and "#1 East of the Mississippi" by Golf Digest and the "Merchandiser of the Year for Public Facilities" by Michigan PGA. Legends Keep Growing About Tullymore's Award-Winning Layout The unique design of Tullymore has been described by famed golf critic Ron Whitten as having an Art Deco flavor with its greens and fairways that follow precise and parallel zigzags, its artistically shaped bunkers and its symmetrically repetitive mounding. That architectural artistry is only part of what will fascinate you during your round. Our layout was created by famed golf architect Jim Engh. Soon after opening in 2002, Tullymore was named the No. 1 New Upscale Public Course in America by Golf Digest. Since then more honors have poured in, including being named among: the Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in America by Golf Digest, Top 15 Public and Resort Courses in America by Golf Digest; Top 50 Golf Courses for Women by Golf for Women; Top 100 Courses in America You Can Play by Golf Magazine; Top 100 Modern U.S. Courses of All Time by Golf Week. Like our other course, St. Ives, Tullymore is a golfing legend in the making that you will yearn to play again and again. Subtle ups and downs make Tullymore a distinctive golfing adventure as you meander through 800 acres of wood and water on this tranquil course. Lakes lap the landscape and the Shinglebolt Creek winds through the course. The greens of Tullymore, guarded by oak sentinels, have an infinite variety of shapes and sizes making each hole a personal, unforgettable experience.  Book tee times below!
