Ottawa Park Golf Course

S.P. Jermain, friend of Bobby Jones, the father of public parks in Toledo, and a consummate golf enthusiast, designed this 18-hole golf course within the natural hills and forest of Ottawa Park. The Ottawa River and two ponds come into play on four of the holes. Ottawa Park Golf Course has a quaint course design with rich history & tradition which is a favorite of local golfers. The tree lined fairways, rolling hills, and small, fast greens offer a challenge to players of all playing abilities. The first National Amateur Public Links was played at Ottawa Park in 1920. Ottawa was established in 1899 and is the oldest public golf course west of New York. The first nine was opened in 1899 and Jermain followed up the design & construction of the back nine in 1908. Internationally renowned golf designer Arthur Hills renovated Ottawa in 1977.  Book tee times below!
